Kim Smith

Welcome to ACCESS Virtual Learning!    My name is Kim Smith and I have been employed by the Talladega County School System at Fayetteville High School for seventeen years.    As the ACCESS Virtual Learning Facilitator, I monitor the academic progress and student behavior in the physical and virtual classrooms.  ACCESS Virtual Learning (Alabama Connecting Classrooms, Educators, and Students Statewide) is an education initiative of the Alabama Department of Education. It provides opportunities and options for Alabama public high school students to engage in Advanced Placement (AP), elective, and other courses to which they may not otherwise have access or be able to schedule.

I currently reside in Fayetteville, Alabama.  I love spending time with my husband of 32 years, Kenny, our four children: Dylan, Kourtney (Ethan), Kelsey (Logan), and Jaycie (Matt), and most of all, with our precious grandchildren Kayden, Rayleigh, Evelyne, Kash, Remingtyn, Blakely, and Violet.  My other hobbies include cooking, reading, and gardening.
